Emberfall Saga
★★★★★ 4.6
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Fights are turn-based, so you can pause and think, and the party system lets you swap roles around depending on what a dungeon throws at you. I built a healer-heavy team early and completely rebuilt it by the midgame once the enemies got smarter.
The writing carries it. The main quest has a few genuinely good twists, and the side characters get enough screen time that you actually care when things go wrong for them. Progress feels earned rather than handed to you.
My only gripe is the inventory screen, which gets messy once you're juggling a dozen skills. But that's a small complaint against a game with this much heart on a phone.
What we liked
- Deep party customisation
- Strong main storyline
- Thoughtful turn-based combat
