Neon Drift City

Neon Drift City is all about the slide. Grip driving barely matters here — the whole scoring system is built around holding drifts through corners and linking them into one long chain. It took me a couple of races to unlearn braking, but once it clicked I couldn't put it down.

The tilt controls are surprisingly precise, though I switched to on-screen buttons for the tighter tracks. Car handling changes enough between vehicles that experimenting actually pays off, and the night-city aesthetic never gets old.

It runs smooth even on an older phone, which I appreciated. This is comfort food racing, and it's very good at it.
